About us

My name is Anja Schrock, I lived in this house with my family for many years. With a lot of love and heart I set up the "Sonnenfeld" house as a holiday apartment. I hope that it is harmonious, comfortable and equipped with everything you need (... and maybe a little more) for you and that you can spend your dream vacation here.

Information

Between Rheinsteig and Lahnsteig, in the middle of the beautiful "Blue Country" lies the holiday apartment "Sonnenfeld" furnished with love for you.

The area invites you to enjoy wonderful hikes or bike tours, whether you are looking for a simple or challenging level. Numerous e-bike charging stations can be easily reached along the cycle paths.

Shopping: everything your heart desires, food, clothing, electrical goods and much more can be found in the nearby town of Nastätten (7 km).

In Kasdorf there is an organic shop and a drinks market. There are also farms in Kasdorf and the surrounding area that offer organic products.

In the immediate vicinity (12 km) you can visit the world famous Loreley. Castles and castles line the banks of the Rhine and offer visits and quaint, first-class German gastronomy. The wine-growing regions on the Rhine, Moselle and Lahn invite you to delicious wine tastings.

For golfers there are two beautiful and challenging golf courses in a fantastic setting nearby (in Bad Ems/Denzerheide, 26 km and in Spay/Jakobsberg, 30 km).

If you love relaxation and wellness, don't miss the Emser Therme (Bad Ems, 22 km), which offers a unique river sauna.

A piece of the interesting world of the Romans can be admired in the Limes castle in Pohl (13 km).

In Bad Ems, follow in the footsteps of the emperor and the tsar, enjoy the healing springs, visit the historic spa house and perhaps also the casino in it.

In Koblenz (32 km) you can use the cable car across the Rhine to more than 2000 years of cultural history. The Koblenz cable car connects the Konrad-Adenauer-Ufer with the Ehrenbreitstein fortress.

Wiesbaden is the state capital of the state of Hesse and with its 15 thermal and mineral springs one of the oldest spas in Europe. Enjoy a stroll through the old town, or take the Nerobergbahn (active since 1888) from the valley station via a viaduct up to the 245-metre-high mountain station.

In the middle of all these sights surrounded by nature and tranquility is the apartment "Sonnenfeld" in Kasdorf.

Brochures that inform you about the manifold possibilities of your leisure time are available for you in the house "Sonnenfeld" in the plank setry.
